John Gaglio

Home town:

Richmond, VA.

Education:

In addition to playing varsity football and lacrosse, John Gaglio led his high school class as President through all four of his years at James River High School. Upon graduating, he attended the University of Virginia, playing rugby for both U.V.A. and the Richmond Lions Rugby Club until sidelined by concussions in 2008. Undaunted by his inability to play contact sports, John continued to train hard with Crossfit and rock climb in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.

Training:

Studying history and economics John changed his trajectory radically upon graduating from the University of Virginia. He realized his passions lay in education and training, and thus interned in the fall of 2009 with Train 4 The Game. The staff’s expert knowledge as well as Gary Gray’s lessons in functional fitness, quickly convinced him of T4TG’s exemplary status in the realm of athletic training. Currently studying for his CSCS certification, John works training and fulfilling administrative duties at Train 4 The Game.
