You can help make a local child’s summer fun and healthy!

Train 4 The Game and Communities in Schools of Central Texas (CIS) have partnered together to give local children served by CIS (ages 12 and up) an opportunity to attend T4TG summer camp during the month of June. The mission of CIS is to support and leverage community resources for schools, students and their families to help young people successfully learn, stay in school and prepare for life.  They serve students who are at risk of dropping out of school on 55 public school campuses and 6 public housing sites in Central Texas.  Each year, over 5,600 students are served intensively and over 36,000 additional students and parents are served agency-wide. CIS is recognized as the top drop out prevention program in Texas and the CIS formula works!  Last year, 99% of students served intensively completed the school year, 92% of students served intensively advanced to next grade level or graduated and 83% of students served intensively improved grades, attendance and/or behavior.If you are interested in sponsoring a child or group of children, please contact Angie at 512-794-2800 or email her at angie@train4thegame.com.

• The cost to sponsor a child for two weeks of camp is only $180.  The sponsorship will provide a child with a discounted camp rate of $155 for one two week camp and a backpack containing school supplies and a hygiene kit worth $25.
